Advanced Footcare Treatment

Advanced footcare treatment is slightly different from a classic pedicure. It is a individualized treatment aimed as thick callus, tough callus and corn removal. By improving and maintaining the health of your feet, it reduces the risk of developing problems and complications related to chronic illnesses such as diabetes, arthritis and impaired circulation. Evaluating the skin, nail and foot condition, preventative measures may be implemented to improve the overall appearance. Ingrown nails, thick and curled nails, heavy calluses and corns will be treated using an electric file. This service will differ with each client as everyone’s needs are different. Advanced footcare treatment in Vancouver is used with Footlogix, the world’s first and only Pediceutical® mousse foot care line.

Advanced Footcare

Treatment includes an exfoliating scrub, cuticle cleanup, shaping of the nail and ending with hydration for the feet. Callus cleanup, corn removal and reduction of thick nails will be done as needed. This is a maintenance treatment, therefore massage and polish are not included.

Ingrown Nail Treatment

The BS Brace is a strip of Duroplast strengthened with fiberglass used to correct ingrown and nails with extreme curvatures. The thin strip is placed across the nail which produces a gentle lift of at the lateral (outside) edges bringing the nail back to its original natural shape. Relief is usually felt within 30 minutes of the procedure. However, those suffering from severe abnormal curved, thick nails will feel the effects within 3 days approximately.

It may take up to 4 applications before the issue is resolved.

Reconstruction of Nail

Layers of gel is applied to your nail bed, recreating the appearance of a nail. The gel has great flexibility which allows it to withstand stress the feet have to go through daily. The gel grows out with the natural nail, causing no trauma to the nail plate or bed.

Containing NanoSilver which has natural antifungal & antibacterial properties, this is safe for nails with fungal issues. It is also great for thick, misshapen, cracked or broken nails.
